Chris Rouly

Ovi Chris Rouly

Dr. Rouly has served as a science, engineering, and technology advisor to the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization, and to the Office of Naval Research, as well as a Research Scientist and Program Manager with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. His academic positions have included service to the ETH in Zürich, Switzerland, the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, Florida, and George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Social Science, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, separate undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Psychology, as well as an Associates in Electronics Technology. His interdisciplinary background drives his research goals across the fields of data science, agent-based modelling, multi-agent systems, Artificial Life, and complex social systems. During the last two decades he has written conference and journal publications and has given conference podium talks on three continents.
